The Good Place is nominated over Emmy nominees Barry and Grace and Frankie, as well as past winner Mozart in the Jungle. The Handmaid’s Tale won at the Emmys, but have people just moved on? I would like to see Westworld win after Game of Thrones stole its Emmy.

I’m sorry but why is The Good Place nominated for an episode where a majority of the set was actually nothing? I mean the entire episode basically took place in a white void of nothingness.

The Handmaid’s Tale can win again, it is much more impressive sets than House of Cards, Better Call Saul and Ozark. I am not that familiar with Castle Rock.

And yes, Westworld must win for the impressive “Akane No Mai”. I finally finished Hill House, “The Bent-Neck Lady” is an impressive work as well.

Why some shows have three nominated episodes, some others two and others just one?

It is up to them how many episodes they submit.

Sort of strange to see Homecoming competing among the comedies but that’s how it shakes out when you categorize by runtime, I suppose.

Limited series category is actually very strong but I wonder if they will just default to Versace like everyone seems to be doing. The Alienist, Maniac, and Sharp Objects would all be extremely deserving winners.
