Good to see Westworld nominated for something finally. THT missed. It’s performing very unevenly. Ozark is solidifying its place in Drama Series and so is the The Good Place for Comedy Series. The Americans continues to get love for its final season.

I would have really liked to see The Haunting of Hill House in here. Its editing has truly established how past impacts the present.

Insecure nominated over Silicon Valley. Things are changing in comedy. Strange that The Handmaid’s Tale was bumped for Westworld. The Handmaid’s Tale won last year, won the Emmy for the season that was eligible here and is the only Emmy nominee from drama that was eligible here, yet it still missed. ACE revamped its categories last year and took its rules offline though, so I am not sure how much panel intervention there was. Weird that they keep nominating only three limited series or movies. How did they choose those episodes of Homecoming and American Crime Story, which did not even submit that one to the Emmys?

"I don't even believe in god, but I'm going to thank her tonight."
