Hello all, been a while since I’ve been active on the forums. A recent conversation led to my re-integration here…

I write film articles for various sites, and on one of these the editor asked me to write a piece on best movies since the year 2000. Top 50 or 100 or so. But here’s the thing: I know what my opinion is already on what the best films are, but I feel that may be lacking variety. So I want to open it up to everyone else here. What films do you feel have been the best of the best since 2000? The cream of the crop.

Whether your preferences are the blockbusters we’ve all seen or whether it’s obscure foreign films that never got a screening in a major cinema, go for it. Discuss.
